The first two episodes of the season premiered in New York City on November 17, 2015, with the full season of 13 episodes released on Netflix on November 20 to an estimated high viewership and critical acclaim. Krysten Ritter stars as Jones, while David Tennant plays Kilgrave. The season was produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios and Tall Girls Productions, with Melissa Rosenberg serving as showrunner. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films and other television series of the franchise. She also served as an ambassador for Not For Sale, an organization that helps survivors of human trafficking.The first season of the American streaming television series Jessica Jones, which is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, follows a former superhero who opens her own detective agency after her superhero career comes to an end at the hands of Kilgrave. On the philanthropic front, Susie serves as an ambassador on the creative council for the non-partisan organization, also supported by Jennifer Lawrence, JJ Abrams, Adam McKay, Amy Adams, and Michael Douglas to name a few. Her, Christie Campo, and Alona Tal, formed a production company producing and writing their own projects. Receiving a full scholarship to Duke University she was one of the top ranked players (#6 in the US), helping her team earn a number one ranking and NCAA title during her freshman year. Before she made her mark on Hollywood, Susie came very close to a career as a professional tennis player. Likely best known for her breakout role as "Pam," in Netflix's "Jessica Jones" (opposite Krysten Ritter and Carrie Anne Moss), born in Concord MA, and raised as a Florida native, Susie Abromeit has proven herself a force to be reckoned with. ![]()
